About Lesson

Navigating the path to publication seems mysterious, but it doesn’t need to be. There are definitive, easy to master skills that can significantly boost your chances of being selected for publication. Proper formatting, adding internal and external conflict, worldbuilding in the macro as well as micro… all these things significantly increase your chances of surfing the slush piles as opposed to becoming mired in them. Students will learn these skills by producing a short story in the class, and then taking it through each step to final publication in the Rising Voices anthology, to be published by Yuriko Publishing.
